I’ve been following the Institute of Human Anatomy’s channel for a while now, and I am super excited and happy to see that they are starting to upload videos related to the transformations our female bodies undergo when we become pregnant.

This may seem like nothing important, but the truth is that science has never really looked at what exactly happens in our female bodies, and to how are they different to the male version of our kind, which has lead to so many misunderstandings, wrong assumptions and bad practices that I don’t want to get into today.

With this video we get to have a better picture of what the placenta is exactly; why many people are kind of obsessed with this organ that the female body grows when we get pregnant, together with some curiosities that are worth paying attention to.

Having been obsessed with pregnancy since such a young age, I can only thank these guys for the creation of these videos. I can’t wait to see more from them.
